Rocky Cross Construction North (Restoration company) located in NE Calgary is looking to hire an Assistant Restoration Technician. The position will have extensive work in cleaning during the restoration process of structures damage by fire, smoke, water, flood, hail, wind, ice or environmental damage occurs. This involves physical work, which would include but not limited to carrying equipment and construction debris. This will be up to a full-time hour’s permanent position with a 3 month probationary period. This position will require mandatory on-call emergency rotation shift, overtime and weekend as needed. Requirements:   

• • Follow instruction as directed by Manager and/ or Crew Lead
• • Restoration experience desirable but not required
• • Lifting and pulling up to 50 lbs +
• • Carpet Cleaning
• • Strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing
• • Assist in remediation projects
• • Ability to meet strict deadlines
• • Willing to work in dirty environments, where sewage and mould may be present
• • 1 year experience would be an asset
• • Valid driver’s license

Skills Required

• • Strong customer service and leadership skills
• • Ability to deal with customers under stressful situations
• • Ability to work independently and/ or with a team
• • Ability to adapt and identify to change and routines

IICRC Certification would be an asset 

• • Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)
• • Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
