Only a trained professional can properly evaluate and address microbial and other environmental contamination. If your property has been affected by potential mold growth, needs asbestos abatement or other bio-hazard remediation, RCC North DKI has the knowledge, experience and specialized equipment to remediate the problem. RCC North DKI has staff trained and certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification).

Over the years the dangers and negative health effects associated with building and contents materials containing such things as mold, asbestos and lead have heightened our awareness and the need to prevent or manage these contaminates conscientiously. Nowhere has this become more evident than in the disaster restoration industry and during the claims process. Buildings constructed prior to 1990 have a greater risk of containing hazardous materials such as Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). We are trained and ready to help you deal with these situations.

We investigate the origin your concern and then assist with whatever actions may be required to reduce or eliminate the contaminates. We always look at methods involving reducing risk and exposure to the our staff, the clients’ personnel, property and the environment at large.

To maintain proper checks and balance we use various Third Party Environmental Consultants and Hygienist’s with experience in building construction, disaster restoration and the building envelope as a whole.

Typical Steps of our Professional Bio-Hazards Removal & Remediation Services:

Source Identification: Through the use of specialized detection equipment we or our Third Party Environmental Hygienist’s can identify potential hazards in commercial structures such as: Air Quality issues, Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), Moisture Control, Mold, Lead, etc. Our training, experience and knowledge helps identify potential Hazardous Materials caused by Flooding, Fires, Leaky Roofs, Humidifiers, Damp Basements or Crawl Spaces, Constant Plumbing Leaks, etc.

Containment: Technicians isolate the area of contamination to eliminate the spread of the hazardous materials to other areas of the property whenever possible.

Filtration: HEPA air filters and negative air machines run continuously throughout the project. Mold spores, dust, MVOCs, and other airborne debris are removed from the air. Your building’s HVAC system will also be evaluated and recommendations made.

Removal and Cleanup: Contaminated materials are remediated or removed and disposed or according to appropriate Regulations, Standards and Guidelines. Often drywall, carpet, furniture and other damaged materials may have to be replaced if remediation is not possible or cost effective.

Replacement: RCC North DKI reconstruction teams can handle the repair and reconstruction of your facility from start to finish so we can return all affected areas of your property to its pre-loss condition quickly and efficiently.

 

Large Loss Rebuild

At RCC North DKI our Reconstruction team’s primary goal is to return a damaged property back to pre-loss condition… quickly and efficiently. In order to do this the process is split into three phases:

Repair Estimates and Approvals: we schedule an appointment for our Large Loss Project Manager and appropriate sub-trades (if necessary) to view damages, take photos and compile information needed to prepare a comprehensive estimate for you and your insurance company;

Project Preparation: after the estimate is approved, your Project Manager will contact you to schedule a walk-through of the property with our key staff and trades and discuss any questions you may have;

Actual Reconstruction: review the reconstruction timeline and anticipated completion. Your insurance company and their adjuster will be informed and kept updated as required. Your RCC North DKI Project Manager will assist you through the whole process and alert you to what is needed to keep the project on time.
